I just got out of the pool. It was the first time for about a month. I felt a bit sluggish right out of the gat but as time went on I felt grate. I will be scheduling me PAST soon.
I got sum good noose and sum bad noose. The good, I got my flight physical approved. The bad, I did a practice PAST today and I had a tough time w/ the sit-ups and push-ups. I did ok considering I didn't get much time to work out for the last month…
Today I went to the pool and swam in an old pair of BDU pants. That is one hell of a work out. It feels like you’re not even moving. It's good to have an idea of how it would be in the field. I will definitely be doing this more.
Felt good in the pool today. Worked under waters but I’m not consistent on the full 50m. Got the 500m surface down to about 9:35. I also did 5 laps consisting of 1 length get out do 10 pushups then return, get out and do 10 four count flutter kicks.
Just got out the pool. Modified the FFluid DC a little.
First:
I tried to do a full 50 m under but only made it half way back.
Then:
For each of the 4x200m freestyles I led off w/ an under.
Finely:
Finished w/ the remaining 2 unders.
Was a bit hard…
Thanks. Now that I am comfortable with my time I will probably start using FFluid to keep it up and give a little variety. Now I need to schedule a time for the PAST.
I had to pick up my son so I didn’t' do the full hour. Loaded my pack and ran 4mi. in 47min. After I got home I weighed it and it ended up being 56.5lbs. That was definitely not what I expected. The run didn't feel to bad, especially being the first…
My 1.5mi is down to 10:28. I'm still working on it. At my own speed I can run just about for ever. I will probably do lightning to marrow for PT. I didn’t get a chance to do it last time so this will be a good make up time.
I have to get a waver for my hearing loss in my left ear. I talked to the Dr. last week and she said that it was finished. So all I am waiting for now is the final approval for the flight physical. They need to get moving on it because I am about to…
For the first time ever I completed a full under water (Down and Back). After that I worked on the flip turn. I suck at that and right now it uses more energy then just touch-n-go. I will definitely keep trying.
sorry for the delay- the kettlebells, figure about like $1 a pound, plus shipping. the rkc crowd will charge like 99 bucks for a regular, #35 kb, so most people are charging like 3 bucks a pound.
It's hard to say. My crew got sent down to another fucked up unit to help out. Apparently we are being sent back down next week for a while to help them straighten out. They keep getting QA and safety fails out the ass and just generally suck at life.
Hey thx man. Ya I get pretty busy somedays and don't really have time to go to the gym or that type of thing so this will be nice. Anyway time to get to it.
Dude, I remember that PAST. That sucked so bad. I remember Scott cheering us on, and us both struggling soooo hard. Damn, that sucked. Now look at us, like some bad ass fish with big ass teeth.
Yeah, you should talk to Mike, one of our Cadre, about PJs. He's looking at going any time also. He also runs our other site, Fatal Fluid, which is all about pool workouts.
